Bio

Jina Lee, an artist and researcher working in London. Her site-specific installations, videos, drawing works were mainly presented in Seoul and London. Lee's artwork and research are concerned with the collapse of territorial boundaries between social, political and geographical space; elements, which she believes are, in the age of globalization, in perpetual movement and simultaneous emigration. But exactly how do people experience this movement? How this invisible collapsing boundary can be visualized? To answer the question, Lee's careful observations and findings through artworks seek to open the possibility for unsuspected interactions of experience and knowledge in relation to geopolitical and cultural boundary issues.
